She heard gadgets were bought and concerts were happening.

Hey guys, how's it going?

I have some big updates for you all. First off, I used to use a little something called a Discman.

Haha, no I don't mean in the 90's, I mean I used one up until last Saturday. Old school you say?

Darn tootin' I am.

But I noticed that as time wore on, my little discman required constant battery changes, carrying around of cds (NOTE: I buy cds), and wait, is that a scratch I see on my ORIGINAL COPY OF BABY, ONE MORE TIME?
Now, how could I let that happen to the short period of time Britney was wholesome and not a girl not yet a woman?

I could not.

So clearly it was time to amp up my bread and butter and trade it in for a Philly Cheesesteak.

The Sansa 4gb mp3 player.

Alright fine, a Philly is more like an Ipod Touch and yes, I did decide in my brain that if this breaks and I lose the warranty (um, story of my life), I wouldn't be as sad because it didn't cost me my glass eye. But guys, I have portable music that doesn't weigh a baby chicken. Aren't you proud of me?

Clearly that romance novel knows what it's talking about. Mmmmmmm, outdated sweaters . . .

You should've seen that coming.

No, but really, I'm content with my little technological wonder. Maybe someday I'll be carrying around a Kindle? (baby steps, baby steps)

Now, I promised you all other updates so here they are (concert up-dates, that is):

315 Bowery
John Varvatos Store (or better known as the former CBGB) is doing their first Thursday of the month free concert.
Come at 8 pm. Bring everyone. Chill. You know the drill.

Milly Beau & Aunt Martha
The Living Room
154 Ludlow St
This Friday, 11 pm - 1:30 am. Kinda in love with Milly Beau's sound. Checking it out is a must.

Deerhoof with Father Murphy
158 Bleecker St
October 13th, 8 pm. Deerhoof live must be like having someone shake the poetry out of you. If that made no sense, then best you go.

Robbers on High Street
Cameo Gallery – Brooklyn, NY
93 North 6th Street
October 21st. Friendly reminder. I believe the time is TBA but come check back. Will be bringing many friends.

There's more of course, but those shows come a snag later, so for now, enjoy these and go buy yourself an outdated sweater to wear to these shows. I'll keep my eyes peeled for some snazzy Cosbian peeps.

That is all folks.
